Features

Everything Chatbotta does,
from first reply to booking

The AI calls the flows you design and works with the systems you already use. Build once, launch on LINE, Messenger, Instagram, and your website, and every reply is checked before it’s sent.

Gets things done

More than answers

The AI doesn’t stop at looking things up. It handles requests through your flows and systems, then replies in the chat.

You draw the flow. The AI uses it.

Your flows become AI tools

Any flow you build in the visual designer can become a tool for the AI, in one click.

Ask “Do I get a discount if I buy this many?” and the AI runs your pricing flow with the customer’s numbers, then answers with the result.

Highlights

  • Tool flows are checked automatically before they go live: they can’t send messages on their own, they always return a value, and they can’t loop forever.
  • Values the AI passes in are used for that one calculation and never saved to the customer’s profile.
  • You set the rules and the AI handles the conversation, so answers stay reliable.

Bookings, reservations, spreadsheets.

Connect the systems you already use

Chatbotta is built on the open MCP standard, so any compatible system can become an external tool for the AI.

Install the booking system and Cloudbeds from “Apps”, and read and write Google Sheets. Cloudbeds users can also install from the Cloudbeds Marketplace and connect each property separately.

About MCP integration →

Highlights

  • Once a customer authorizes it, the AI can look up or change that customer’s own bookings. Authorization data is encrypted and tied to the source system.
  • If the system needs more information, the AI asks for the missing fields in the chat and carries on once it has them.
  • External tools are installed in “Apps”, and you choose which ones the AI can use.

Staff schedules, room availability, approvals, and reminders.

A booking system, built in

Chatbotta includes its own booking back office, with multiple staff, multiple services, schedules, and work items.

Customers book through LINE (LIFF) or with a phone number and SMS code, and the AI can use the booking system as a tool. B&Bs and hotels can switch to stays: booking by room type, with rooms available each night.

Highlights

  • New bookings, cancellations, reschedules, and reminders go to the customer on LINE automatically, and the business is notified.
  • Customers check times and book right in the chat. With stays, they can also check vacancies and get a total price.
  • Bookings that need confirmation wait for approval, and the business confirms or declines in one tap on LINE.
  • Staff can connect Google Calendar: busy times are blocked out, and confirmed bookings create calendar events. Booking pages are in Chinese and English.

Omnichannel

Build once, launch everywhere

One flow goes live on LINE, Messenger, Instagram, website chat, and test preview at the same time.

LINE, Messenger, Instagram, and website chat. One set of flows.

Four channels plus test preview

Chatbotta converts each flow into every channel’s native format: LINE rich menus and Flex messages, Messenger’s persistent menu and button templates, and live website chat.

No separate bot to maintain for each channel.

Highlights

  • Crop rich menus inside the flow. They upload to LINE when you publish.
  • Add it to your website with one line of code, with your brand colors and a mobile layout.
  • Test preview and all four channels share the same flow, so one change applies everywhere.

Start on the website. Continue on LINE.

Website visitors become LINE friends, conversation included

Chatbotta gives anonymous website visitors a short code. Once they add your LINE Official Account or Messenger and enter it, the whole website conversation moves over.

Your agents pick up where it left off, and visitors don’t have to repeat themselves.

Learn more →

Highlights

  • Conversation history is linked to the customer automatically and is searchable.
  • A one-time website inquiry becomes a LINE friend you can stay in touch with.
  • Agents take over in the same inbox and see every message from the website.

Edit freely. Nothing breaks.

Every publish is a snapshot

Each time you publish, Chatbotta saves a version of your flows that can’t be changed.

Customers always talk to the published version, and your edits stay as drafts until you publish. If something’s wrong, fix it and publish again. Nothing half-finished reaches customers.

Highlights

  • Before you publish, automatic checks list every unconnected step, missing setting, and unknown field for you to fix.
  • Publishing also syncs the LINE rich menu and the Messenger persistent menu.
  • Conversations in progress aren’t affected by edits and switch over at the next publish.

Reliable and in control

Reliable, and you stay in control

Replies are checked before they go out, rules cover the exceptions, Copilot helps you build, and permissions and data stay separate.

Better a person than a customer left hanging.

Every reply is checked before it’s sent

Chatbotta runs three checks on every AI reply. If a reply doesn’t pass, the conversation goes to a human agent automatically.

The checks look for leaked tool instructions, abnormal language or garbled text, and, using a separate judge model, whether the reply makes sense. After two failures in a row, a human agent takes over and the customer is told. Option cards and buttons from the AI go through the same checks. If the AI tries to hand off without checking any tools, the system makes it check once first.

Highlights

  • The language check reads the conversation context, so customers chatting in other languages aren’t blocked by mistake.
  • If a reply is blocked by the content safety policy, the system errors, or a button or card can’t be sent, a person takes over and the customer is told. Nothing fails silently.
  • If the customer keeps writing during the handoff, the chat doesn’t freeze or send duplicate replies.

Whatever it finds, it replies your way.

Reply rules for specific situations

Reply rules give the AI extra instructions to follow when certain knowledge or tool results come up.

For example, whenever the AI finds a quote, it reminds the customer to double-check the date. Rules cover the exceptions the bot persona doesn’t.

Highlights

  • Rules trigger on the knowledge or tool results the AI actually found in that turn, not on keywords. Ask the same thing a different way, and the rule still applies.
  • You can limit a rule to certain platforms and choose which tools the AI uses when replying.
  • Rules higher in the list take priority; drag to reorder. Copilot can also draft rules for you to confirm.

Say “Build me a booking flow” and it starts drawing.

Copilot builds flows and tidies knowledge

Copilot creates, edits, and connects steps in your flows, and organizes your knowledge base by merging duplicates and sorting entries into folders.

Before it changes your flows or knowledge, Copilot lists the changes and waits for your OK.

Highlights

  • Re-answer with current knowledge: take a real customer question and answer it again with your updated knowledge to see whether the change worked.
  • Knowledge cleanup supports preview and undo.
  • Copilot knows which step or conversation you’re looking at, so its answers fit what you’re doing.

Build with the AI you already use

Chatbotta has an MCP server. ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI assistants that support MCP can connect once you authorize them with your Chatbotta account.

Ask it to check your setup progress, import prepared content into the knowledge base, adjust the bot persona, or play a customer to test your bot. Tests use the same AI, knowledge, and tools as real conversations.

How to connect →

Highlights

  • Imported knowledge is checked against what you already have for duplicates and conflicts, and goes through the same review as in the back office.
  • The authorization page lists the permissions the AI gets, and you can view and revoke connections in the back office anytime.
  • Only project members can authorize, and the AI can only access the project it was authorized for.

Separate projects, clear permissions, isolated data.

Enterprise-grade security and permissions

Chatbotta isolates data by project and has five roles: Owner, Admin, Editor, Agent, and Viewer.

Each role has clearly defined access, and you can customize feature permissions for individual members. Full security architecture documentation is available for your security review.

Contact us for security architecture documentation →

Highlights

  • Five roles: Owner, Admin, Editor, Agent, and Viewer, with custom feature permissions when you need them.
  • All third-party tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM.
  • Webhook signatures from Facebook and Instagram (Meta) are verified, and requests from unknown sources are rejected.

Local

Made for Taiwan

The interface, copy, AI replies, and calendar all default to Taiwan.

LINE isn’t just “supported.” It’s home turf.

Details that matter in Taiwan

Edit LINE rich menus, Flex messages, quick replies, and postbacks right in your flows, and preview Flex layouts.

The interface, copy, and AI replies all default to Traditional Chinese.

LINE AI customer service →

Highlights

  • The AI knows Taiwan’s calendar: Lunar New Year, make-up workdays, the last day of a holiday, and weekends before long holidays, so holiday pricing rules work for hospitality and services.
  • When your LINE push message quota runs out, you’re told clearly, so you never assume a message went out when it didn’t.
  • Rich menus, Flex messages, quick replies, and postbacks are edited right in your flows.

Side by side

Same claims, different depth

Every AI customer service tool says these things. The difference is in the second column.

Common claim Chatbotta
“The AI finds answers in your documents” It also calls your flows and external systems to get things done.
“Connects to booking systems” Bookings and room availability are built in. The AI checks availability and books in the chat, and the business confirms in one tap on LINE.
“Supports multiple channels” One flow becomes the native format of four channels, and website visitors can move to LINE with their conversation.
“Has human handoff” Every AI reply passes three checks before it’s sent, or a person takes over. System errors go to a person too, and the customer is told.
“Customize the AI prompt” Beyond the bot persona, you can tell the AI how to reply when it finds specific knowledge or tool results.
“Connects to APIs” Built on the open MCP standard. Install external tools from “Apps” and authorize each one separately.

FAQ

What’s different?

Everyone says their AI finds answers in your documents. What does Chatbotta do differently?

Besides finding answers in the knowledge base, Chatbotta’s AI calls the tool flows you build and uses external tools (MCP) to work with systems like the booking system and Cloudbeds, so it can get things done before it replies.

Everyone says they connect to booking systems. What does Chatbotta do differently?

The booking system is built in, so there’s no separate calendar or booking tool to connect. Service businesses use appointments with staff schedules; B&Bs and hotels use stays to manage room types and rooms available each night. The AI checks availability and books right in LINE, Messenger, Instagram, and website chat. Bookings that need confirmation wait for approval, and the business confirms or declines in one tap on LINE.

Everyone says they support multiple channels. What does Chatbotta do differently?

Chatbotta converts one flow into the native formats of four channels: LINE, Messenger, Instagram, and website chat, including LINE rich menus, Flex messages, and Messenger’s persistent menu. Website visitors can also move to LINE and keep chatting, with the whole conversation.

Everyone says they have human handoff. What does Chatbotta do differently?

Chatbotta doesn’t wait for the AI to get stuck. Every AI reply goes through three checks before it’s sent: leaked tool instructions, abnormal language or garbled text, and a separate model confirming the reply makes sense. After two failures in a row, a human agent takes over and the customer is told. The same happens if a reply is blocked by the content safety policy, the system errors, or a message can’t be sent, so no customer is left hanging.

Everyone lets you customize the AI prompt. What does Chatbotta do differently?

Besides the bot persona, which sets the overall tone, Chatbotta has reply rules: extra instructions for when the AI finds certain knowledge or a tool returns a result, like reminding the customer to confirm the date after a quote. Rules trigger on what the AI actually found, not on keywords, and can be limited to certain platforms and set which tools to use.

Everyone says they connect to APIs. What does Chatbotta do differently?

Chatbotta uses the open MCP standard, so any compatible system can become an external tool for the AI. Install external tools from “Apps” or add your own, and choose which ones the customer-facing AI can use. If your data is in Google Sheets, steps in your flows can read and write it directly, with no separate integration.

Everyone has a flow designer. What does Chatbotta do differently?

Chatbotta’s built-in Copilot creates, edits, and connects steps in your flows and organizes your knowledge base, all by chatting. Before and after changing knowledge, use “Re-answer with current knowledge” on real customer questions to confirm the answers improved. Every publish saves a version of your flows that can’t be changed, so edits don’t affect conversations in progress.
